Sour ale fermented in French oak foudres with a Belgian yeast. Aged one year in French oak foudres with a mixed culture. Finished on wild Alaskan blueberries. Naturally carbonated in the bottle.
The blueberry character is mildly sweet and jammy, but mostly very sour and bracing. There’s definitely some oak and red wine, too- it’s super vinous. This is medium bodied, very crisp and with a lingering acidity on the finish. It’s definitely a slow sipper.
